A tribal hamlet lives in the middle of the forest untouched by modern technology and closed off from the world. They believe their tyrant leader, the Dora (Vinay Varma) is a messenger of God and worship a rock, hoping their prayers are answered someday. Ashwin weaves the tale of Aakashavaani like a legend where this tribal clan have their own style of offering worship, their own legends about death, ‘stars’ and even their own medicinal recipes. When a child from their hamlet, Gidda (Prashanth) comes across a discarded radio and a school teacher called Chandram (Samuthirakani) comes to the forest, their lives will never be the same again.
